Prayer Assignments - Week 60-69

Memory Verse - Revelation 5:5 (Revelation 5:1-14)

"And one of the elders saith unto me, weep not: behold, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, haith prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof." Revelation 5:5

Revelation 5:1-14 - It is a faith venture for God's people. 

Revelation 5:1-15 - Who is worthy to open the book and to loose the seven seals of Revelation chapter six, seven and eight?

Revelation 5:5-9 - And the four and twenty elders said - Jesus the lamb - slain from the foundation of the earth is worthy by they blood

Revelation 5:10 - They have the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:12

Revelation 5:12-14 - It is a faith venture for God's people. Luke 18:7-8

Memory Verse - Revelation 6:2 (Revelation 6:1-4)

"And I saw, and behold a white horse, and he that sat on him had a bow: and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer." (Jesus) John 19:25-30

Revelation 6:1-4 - Holy, Holy, Holy is His name

Revelation 6:1-4 - The first and second of seven seals is loosed. Jesus says in Revelation 6:1-4 that His church in it's purity will evangelize the world, even with it's blood.

Memory Verse - Revelation 6:11 (Revelation 6:5-11)

 "And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled."

Revelation 6:5-11 - The third, fourth and fifth seal loosed. The church would make compromise against the truth for 1260 years.

Revelation 6:5,6 - The third seal is loosed to find out who is worthy. Now at this time you and I are called upon to enter into an experience with Jesus, closer now than all the angels , or any group that have lived and died upon this world. Revelation 14:1-16

Revelation 6:7,8 - The fourth seal is loosed and death over a fourth part of the earth.

Revelation 6:9-11 - The fifth seal is loosed those slain for the word of God, and white robes were given unto every one of them.

Memory Verse - Revelation 6:17 (Revelation 6:12-17)

"For the great day of his wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand."

Revelation 6:12-17 - The first part of the sixth seal is loosed. 

Revelation 6:12,13 - The great earthquake, and the darkening of the sound and moon, and the second coming of Jesus, after a short interlude. Matthew 24:29,30

Revelation 6:13 and 14 - We are now living between verses 13 and 16, the second coming of Jesus. 

Revelation 6:13-16 - The great earthquake is come and those that were alive and not ready for Jesus coming say "Let the rocks and the mountains fall on us and hide us from the wrath of the lamb."

Memory Verse - Revelation 7:1-8 (Revelation 7:3)

"Saying, hurt not the earth neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads."

 

Revelation 7:1-8 - We are still under the sixth seal (see also Ezekiel 9:4-6 his mark of approval) Revelation 7:1-8 the sealing of the 144,000. The mark of redemption. They are obedient and faithful to all of  God's commands. Revelation 12:17, Revelation 14:12, Revelation 22:14. Certainly the keeping of the Sabbath of the fourth commandment is a mark of distinction, for it is God's day of rest.

 

Revelation 7:4-8 - Just before the 144,000 are sealed, by the fourth angel, (Revelation 18:1) the four angels are to hold back the winds of strive as described in Revelation chapter sixteen.

 

The burden of Christ's preaching was the time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand, Daniel 9:24-27, Daniel 8:14.

Memory Verse - Revelation 7:9-17 (Revelation 7: 13,14)

 

"And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, what are these which are arrayed in white robes? And whence came they? And he said to me, these are they which came out of great tribulation and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the lamb."

 

Revelation 7:9-12 - Is the great multitude.

 

Zechariah 4:6 - The Lord has a work for us all to do, to be transformed by the Holy Spirit. 

 

Revelation 7:13-15 - These are the 144,000. They will represent Jesus character. Revelation 14:12. They have surrendered all to God. Exodus 20:3

 

Revelation 7:17 - The lamb is our shepherd. He is leading us to fountains of living water.

Memory Verse - Revelation 8:1-5 (Revelation 8:4)

 

Revelation 8:4 - "And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand."

 

Revelation 8:3,4 - The role that prayer plays in the sealing. See Romans 13:11-14. Also 2 Chronicles 7:14.

 

Isaiah 1:18,19 - Let us remember that Jesus is willing and anxious to take away our sin, and to save the sinner.

 

John 1:29 - It is the blood of Jesus alone "that taketh away the sin of the world."

Jesus work is - "For He is like a refiner's fine, and like fuller's soap; and He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto thee an offering in righteousness." Malachi 3:1-3.

Memory Verse - Revelation 8:6-13 (Revelation 8:6)

Revelation 8:6 - "And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound." (Oh that God's people had a sense of the impending destruction.)

 

Revelation 8:7-13 - The first four trumpets or the first four angels soundings, woe , woe to the inhabitants of the earth. Many died. A third part of the trees and grass burnt up. A third part of the sea became blood, and a third part of the living creatures in the sea died. The rivers became bitter and many died.

 

"What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it?" Isaiah 5:4 

Memory Verse - Revelation 9:1-2 (Revelation 9:6)

Revelation 9:6- "And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them."

Revelation 9:1-11 - The fifth angel sounded. A star fell from heaven and the earth was darkened with a killing smoke. 

Revelation 9:4 - The angel was commanded not to hurt anyone that had the seal of God in their foreheads. 

Revelation 9:5 - The fifth angel would allow those without the seal of God to be hurt by the killing smoke for five months, but not be allowed to die. 

Revelation 9:12 - Behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

The only safeguard against Satan is the presence of Jesus. "And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only. Matthew 17:8 

Memory Verse - Revelation 9:13-21 (Revelation 9:16)

Revelation 9:16 - "And the number of the army of horsemen. were two hundred thousand: (this is two hundred million) and I heard the number of them."

Revelation 9:13-21 - The sixth trumpet. The sixth angel from heaven sounded.

Revelation 9:17-19 - Saying loose the four angels to slay the third part of men with fire, smoke and sulfur. A third part of men were killed.

Revelation 9:20,21 - Yet the rest of the men not killed by these three plagues did not repent.

Revelation 8:6-13 and Revelation 9:1-21 - Would be proclaimed and transpire under the first and second angels message of Revelation 14:6-8.

In Jesus was their only hope. "And the disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish." Matthew 8:25

Jesus said "Lovest thou me" - This is the essential qualification, John 13:34,35
